Live and work with a bias towards action
So my last post on “Eliminating the Bright and Shiny Object” Syndrome is a week late.
Kind of ironic… don’t you think?
We had website “challenges” last Friday and then I headed out of town for family vaca… so I had to employ our second strategy of grace and just let it go until now.
But I’m back… and I’m bolstered in this effort by a book I took with me on my trip.
It’s called “Making Ideas Happen” by Scott Belsky.
The subtitle for the book is “Overcoming the obstacles between vision and reality.”
If you consider yourself a “creative” or maybe you’re a person with a lot of BIG dreams and you want to make sure you’re moving past the ideation stage into taking action… you should check out this book.
In some ways, it’s a sales pitch for a organization system that Scott and his team have come up with… but at the same time… it offers some very practical tools to help you… even the creative… use organization to expand your ability to get things done… instead of limit your ability to create.
I’m all about dreaming BIG but I’m also all about moving from dreaming to taking action. I know you are too!
I’d highly recommend checking out this book. It’ll help in the process of taking some of your BIG dreams and helping you to get them done!
Keep dreaming BIG,
Mitch
PS – Click on comments and let us know what you think of this book and/or any of your favorite books about gettin’ er’ done!!
