BONUS TIP 1: Create a Mixtape!

Playlist – Mixtape!!!

Put a playlist together of songs that mean something to you as a couple!

Use Apple… Spotify… or put a literal mixtape together!

Examples from “Our History” Playlist:

  • “Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton
  • “In Your Eyes” by Peter Gabriel
  • “I will always love you” by Whitney Houston
  • “Crazy Love” by Van Morrison

Conversation Starter Questions:

Complete the following sentences:

  • My favorite class in high school was _________? (Why?)
  • A perfect Saturday morning is when I get to ______________________.
  • One of my favorite things about my week is when I ________________.
  • One of my favorite TV shows from my childhood was ______________. (Why?)
  • My favorite season of the year is ____________. (Why?)

Other questions:

  • If you could meet any celebrity, who would you want to meet and why?
  • If you could have a personal assistant do one thing for you, what would you have them do?
  • If you could instantly learn how to play an instrument, which instrument would you want to be able to play?  Where would you want to perform?
  • If you could take a trip anywhere in the world (cost is not an issue), where would you want to go and why?

BONUS TIP 3: Be a Tourist:

My friend and coaching client, Lisa Even (www.EvenConnection.com) suggests giving yourself permission to be a “Tourist” in your own town.  Try things you haven’t tried.  Go somewhere you haven’t gone.  Be willing to risk looking like a “tourist” to see something for the first time.  And/or to see something you’ve seen a hundred times… through new eyes!
