Here’s some of what we talk about:
The BIG question: “How do you know you’re in a mid-career slump?”

  1. You just do “good enough” work
  2. Getting promoted seems more like a burden than a reward
  3. You’ve stopped building relationships
  4. You’ve stopped taking action on your ideas
  5. You’ve stopped learning

The BIGGER and MORE IMPORTANT question: “What can we do about it?”

Start learning again

Regularly finish something

Surround yourself with allies

Thanks Mitch, just yesterday I was in that funk. Got home from work stood in my driveway turned in circles wondering which of my multiple projects to work on. I finally just went in and took a shower. Thank you for the motivation.

Dan! So great to hear from you and glad this one resonated. We’ve all felt the “slump” from time to time. Way to just step forward (grab a shower) and get back in the fight!!! You got this brother!

Mitch, WOW! Had to listen to this one twice. It’s packed with golden nuggets that I’ll be able to ‘translate’ into my own coaching program. I love the way Antonio communicates his message. Another bonus, I heard him speak to a number of things that I like to stress… it’s always to see and hear validation that you’re on a good path. Awesome interview as always… Thanks!!

I would love to have Antonio speak at our women’s event at the Robinson Nuclear Power Plant in Hartsville, SC. I represent the Women in Nuclear (WIN) chapter at Robinson. His message sounds inspiring and might just be what many of us need to build our careers. Is there a way to contact him and see if he is available?
